Search terms
A name, location, or other query entered in a search box is transmitted to the third-party provider operating that tool. Oregon Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages
An email or contact submission is retained as needed to answer it. We do not share a message outside the organization unless the law requires disclosure.
Automatic Technical Data
Ordinary server, analytics, and advertising tools may record technical details when a page loads.
- Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent
- Referring page or site, when supplied
- Date and time stamps
Cookies
Cookies help measure how visitors use the site. A browser can block them, although some functions may then work differently.

- Display advertising that may reflect inferred interests
Other Sites and Services
Links lead to sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, county sites, court services, and outside search tools. Once a visitor leaves, the destination's privacy policy controls. Interface examples are limited to what is needed to explain a source and should not expose full birth dates, home addresses, victim information, sealed matters, or confidential youth records. The agency that created a public record controls any correction, restriction, or removal.
Advertising partners may use their systems to measure activity across sites and tailor ads. That tracking is governed by those partners.
When Data Is Shared
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be handled by these parties:
- Search partners processing a query
- Analytics providers
- Advertising networks
- Law enforcement or another government body acting under a valid legal order
Security Measures
Reasonable security practices are used, but no internet-connected service can be guaranteed free from loss, interception, or unauthorized access.
Visitors Under 18
The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if a minor submitted information so it can be reviewed for deletion.
